Solidarity Merauke once again held a protest demanding that the Indonesian government stop the Merauke National Strategic Project (PSN Merauke) in South Papua. The project is accused of seizing the customary lands of the Malind Anim, Makleuw, Khimahima, and Yei peoples in Merauke Regency, as well as the Wambon Kenemopte and Awyu peoples in Boven Digoel Regency. Moreover, the project is rife with human rights violations, as it involves the military and police in its implementation.
