Lahore, Pakistan — The Pakistan Kissan Rabita Committee (PKRC), a nationwide alliance of peasant, tenant farmer, small-scale farmer, and agrarian worker organizations, will convene its 4^th Federal Congress on 3–4 January 2026 in Lahore.
The congress will bring together 5 delegates of each 34 member organisations of PKRC to Lahore. It will elect its new leadership and office bearers.

Portugal's minority right-wing conservative government (Democratic Alliance) planned to survive thanks to the parliamentary support, alternately, of the Socialists (PS) or the far right. It succeeded in getting the general state budget for 2026 adopted thanks to the abstention of the PS and then intended to pass a set of new employment laws with the complicity of Chega (far right).
