Far-right movements have come to power in numerous countries across the region. They are linked to Trumpism ; resisting them requires the broadest possible coordination of these resistance movements at both local and regional levels.

Up to 60,000 migrants crossed from Morocco into Ceuta late last month, an event which triggered headlines around the world. Among them were people from sub-Saharan countries such as Sudan and Ivory Coast, and they have now gathered on a beach on the north-eastern edge of this Spanish enclave in Africa.
